New Beginnings Church now has a new location at 45 Glenwood Avenue. Take Rutherford Road to Marion Street then turn right on Glenwood Avenue. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.; morning worship at 11 a.m.; and Sunday and Wednesday evening services begin at 6 p.m.

Clinchfield United Methodist Church will have a spaghetti lunch and dinner today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Plate costs are $6 for adults, $3 for kids ages 5-10, and free for those under the age of 5. Dine in, take out or delivery is available by calling 442-4530.

St. Mark's United Methodist Church's women will hold a poor man's supper tonight from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted with proceeds going toward a special outreach project to the elderly. "Calvary's Touch" gospel quartet will perform during the supper.

New Horizon Baptist Church will have a spaghetti dinner tonight at 6 p.m. Cost is $7 and includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drink. Entertainment will be available during the dinner. The church is located on U.S. 221 North.

Peppers Creek Baptist Church will have a special singing Saturday at 7 p.m. with Salem Quartet and Charles Woodard.

Harmony Grove Baptist Church's youth will have a poor man's supper Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $5 per plate.

Bethel Free Will Baptist Church will have its fourth Saturday night singing this Saturday at 7 p.m. with Victory Temple choir.

Going Home Free Will Baptist Church will have a yard sale Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Sausage biscuits will be for sale until 10 a.m., and hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold at 11 a.m.

New Testament Baptist Church, located in Old Fort, will hold a revival Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8 at 7 p.m. nightly. Randy Stevens will be the guest speaker, and special music will be provided nightly.

Charity Mission Free Will Baptist Church, located on Deer Park Rd. in Nebo, will have a singing on Sunday, March 8 at 11 a.m. Featured singers will be 4Ever4Given from Albemarle.

Eastside Baptist Church will have Dr. Phil Kidd as the visiting evangelist on Sunday, March 15 at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. services. Special music will be provided by the Roger Henson family. Visit www.eastsidebaptistnc.com for directions.

Marion Christian Academy has a prayer breakfast on the second Saturday of each month from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the elementary campus, located at 551 Burma Road West. A simple breakfast will be served, for a donation, with emphasis on prayer concerns. For a prayer request, call 652-2033.

West Marion Baptist Church is looking for a volunteer music director who can teach the choir, lead the congregation and blend traditional, gospel and praise music. Those interested are asked to call Thelma Owen at 652-7679.
