Help solve bizarre break-in and pocket some cash

If you've got what authorities need (information), victims of a residential break-in have what you want (cash).
Two break-ins to a house on Moffitt Hill road in Old Fort have left investigators and the homeowners, John and Claudia Kiser, baffled.
The Kisers reported on Saturday, Aug. 30 that some pried open a door to their residence, entered and stole $8,200 worth of property, including four firearms, a gun scope, currency, two knives, a pair of diamond earrings and a Purple Heart medal.
According to reports from the McDowell County Sheriff's Office, the couple told authorities it appeared that the culprits had also eaten a Payday candy bar and Reese's cups, had removed beer from the refrigerator and had lounged on the sofa.
Neighbors reported seeing a white Ford truck with a white male driver in the area that morning and afternoon.
The break-in occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27 and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30.
A few days later, someone entered the house, once again by prying open a door. John Kiser stated in an interview that nothing was taken on the second occasion. He said he has no idea who would want to break into their home.
The Kisers are offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators. In addition, McDowell County Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward.
