Recently we were robbed... again.
We have been robbed five times since Febuary of this year. Before, they stole my husband's tools, shoplight, tie downs, things like that. This time they went too far.
Someone stole my 3-year-old little boy's favorite thing. Someone stole my son's Lightning McQueen PowerWheels car. He got it from his granny for Christmas last year. The child has not even had it a year yet. He loved that car. We went outside to play and he wanted to drive it. We looked everywhere. It was no where to be found. It is a very large car, too. It was battery operated and he could drive it very well.
It is a crying shame that someone would stoop so low as to take from a little kid. Whoever took it surely knew that it was not an adult's item. They are bound to have known that it belonged to a child and yet they still stole it. I think it is very pathetic and very sorry of a person to take a toy from a child.
My son has been crying his eyes out for his car. He keeps asking me "Where's my Lighning McQueen at, Mama?"
I tried explaining it to him. He is only 3. He doesn't understand what a robber is. He thinks he is being punished for something he did not do!
He was telling his granny about it the day it got stolen. He said, "Granny, my car is gone. Someone took it away from me. I lost it, I can't find it. I want it. I wish it was back. I was a good boy too!"
Whoever came into our front yard and took my baby's toy, I want you to listen up. You have broken a little boy's heart.
He wanted that car so bad and he was told that if he was good all year that Santa might bring it to him. He was good all year and Santa brought it to him. Now it is gone because of you!
You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You may of given it to your child, I don't know. But if you want to give your child something, get a job! Earn it like his granny did.
One day you will have to answer for what you did. In the Bible it states that what you do unto little ones, you do unto God.
