This brief letter is in response to the letter dated Oct. 1 titled "Hire Americans First." I believe that it is a well-known fact that there appears to be a shortage of jobs currently. However, I am a firm believer that if someone wants a job they can definitely find one.
If someone is truly interested in supporting their family, they will work in any field, including the restaurant business. There are more jobs out there than the rock quarries and the great state of North Carolina.
