Fire officials continue to investigate the cause of a blaze that leveled a mobile home in Nebo early Thursday morning.
Firefighters from Nebo, Dysartsville, Marion and Burke County's West End departments were called to 246 Muddy Creek Road around 3:30 a.m.
They found the trailer, owned by Joe Bob Branton, fully engulfed in flames.
Mike Fulbright, assistant chief of Nebo Volunteer Fire Department, said it hasn't been determined what sparked the blaze.
No one was injured.
Firefighters estimated the damage to the home and its contents at $10,000 to $12,000.
Aiding at the scene were members of McDowell County Emergency Medical Services and the McDowell County Rescue Squad.
