The McDowell County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday to talk about the release of recent U.S. Census data and discuss in closed session an economic development issue.
The regular meeting will begin at 5 p.m.
Under old business, the board will discuss:
-- The Façade Grant program
-- The Government Channel for Nebo.
-- Water line development
-- Building Inspection relocation
Under new business, the board will discuss:
-- Census information
-- Records disposition schedule
-- Criminal Justice Partnership Grant approval
-- Tax and water releases/refunds
-- Board appointments.
The board will also meet a new extension agent, discuss Sheriff’s Office vehicles and financing and conduct the closed session on economic development.
