Authorities arrested a Marion man they say possessed child pornography.
Detective Lydia Effler of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jerry Dale Plumley, 27, of Hensley Park Drive with six felony counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was taken into custody in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Effler said an acquaintance found the porn on Plumley’s computer flash drive and notified investigators.
All of the porn, which featured children from ages 4 to 12, was downloaded from the Internet, according to the detective.
