In an effort to help promote local & regional music, the McDowell News is proud to present a web page showcasing this talent. Bands & Artists are encouraged to send us their MP3 files. We do not accept any other audio format (no wav files or *.wma). The MP3's should be no larger than 4.5 MB and a sampling rate of no more than 128K. Send submissions to: esimpson@mediageneral.com
Rules & Conditions
- Do not send any MP3s with profanity or explicit lyrics.
- The submission must be your own work.
- Only one submission per band/artist.
- Please send a 1-2 sentence description- longer descriptions will be abridged at our discretion.
- If you provide a link to your web site or your band's web site it will be posted online.
- The MP3 file should be sampled at a rate of 128K and no larger then 4.5 MB. The servers will reject any files larger than this threshold.
